Christmas Carols Service

Each year the Britain-Australia Society organises a Carols Service at the famous 'Bow Bells' church, within the sound of whose bells all Cockneys are born. This is a special event and one of the highlights of The Britain-Australia Society calendar.

For 2017 a limited number of Supporters of The Royal Commonwealth Society are invited to attend the service and to enjoy the complimentary mince pies and wine which follow.

The service is conducted by the Chaplain, the Reverend George Bush and is attended by senior representatives of the Australian diplomatic community, several of whom read lessons.

Lesson readers include:
  • His Excellency The Hon Alexander Downer AC, Australian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom
  • Mr Ken Ryan AM, Agent General for Victoria to the United Kingdom & Commissioner to Europe and Israel
  • Ms Kate White, Director, Asia Pacific Directorate, Foreign and Commonwealth Office
  • Mr Dale Eaton, National Director, Britain-Australia Society

Should you like to attend please send an email to eventsteam@thercs.org with your details.
