Statement on the administrative alignment between RCS and CLGF
In June 2018, The Royal Commonwealth Society (RCS) and the Commonwealth Local Government Forum (CLGF) entered into an alignment agreement with a view to exploring cost savings which might be made, including through five shared posts, and the potential for shared projects. It was agreed that the alignment would be reviewed periodically.
Although there have been positive indications of joint work, not least capitalising on shared expertise and experience, after careful review, the two organisations have mutually agreed that such work can be achieved without a formal alignment.
The RCS and CLGF as like-minded organisations working to further the value and values of the Commonwealth, and as part of the Commonwealth Hub, look forward to collaborating with each other in the future.
