Vancouver branch at the Highland Games

The Royal Commonwealth Society was recently represented at the 150th Highland Games by the Vancouver Island branch.

The Games were held in Victoria BC from 18th - 19th May and the branch hosted a stall at the Games, where the public were invited to guess the countries of the Commonwealth and purchase memorial buttons. The Commonwealth flag was also included in the Opening Ceremony parade.

The two-day event was very popular and many guests visited the Commonwealth stall. The event was also attended by HRH The Duke of York, who was in attendance as the Games Chieftan.
