The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition is now open for 2018, accepting essays, stories, scripts and poems on the theme of 'Towards a Common Future' from those aged 18 and under across the Commonwealth.
The Competition prides itself on providing a platform for young voices, helping to develop written English skills and acting as a vehicle through which young people can learn about the Commonwealth. To assist teachers, librarians, parents and individuals, this page provides resources that you can use to promote the Competition to your school, child or youth group. They will also help you to learn about the Competition, begin thinking about the theme and start writing your entry.
